Dalton Neuschwander Baltimore Orioles University of West Florida RHP

Dalton Neuschwander graduated from the University of West Florida (UWF), where he established himself as a three year starting pitcher for the Argonauts’ baseball team. The Alabama-born athlete, 6’1”, 200-pound right-hander, started his college career at Coastal Alabama South before moving to UWF, where he developed into the baseball team’s foundational starter. He developed into a leading college baseball talent within Division II since transferring to UWF.

2025 MLB Draft

On 07/14/2025, with pick No. 304 in the 10th round of the 2025 Major League Baseball draft the Baltimore Orioles selected Neuschwander. "Getting drafted has been a dream come true," Neuschwander said. "I first want to give all glory to God. He blessed me with the ability to play baseball and I want to glorify him every time I play. I wouldn't have been able to accomplish this without God, my family, teammates, coaches and friends who have supported me along the way. I will forever be indebted to UWF for helping me accomplish my dreams. This is just the beginning. I want to represent UWF in The Show."

Off the field, Neuschwander has earned distinction for his academic discipline and leadership. He graduated with his Bachelor's Degree from the UWF Lewis Bear Jr. College of Business in May of 2025. He received CSC Academic accolades and GSC All-Academic recognition and maintains excellent athletic intensity alongside strong academics. From his position as mentor to junior athletes, Neuschwander takes responsibility for developing team values.
